FREE FACERS MEMBERSHIP FOR NEW MEMBERS

The Florida Association of County Engineers and Road Superintendents (FACERS) Board of Directors and Officers are waiving membership fees for new members who sign up for 2009. Also, FACERS Bylaws have been amended to include members representing cities and municipalities in Florida.

Obtain Traffic Sign Materials with a NACE/3M Grant!

National Association of County Engineers (NACE) members can apply for one-time, safety initiative grants to significantly reduce the cost of traffic signs to meet new, federal retroreflectivity standards that requires agencies to address the need for higher performing signs. The grant is in partnership with 3M, a leading maker of reflective safety products.

About FACERS

The Florida Association of County Engineers and Road Superintendents (FACERS) is entrusted by professional obligation

  • to monitor and offer opinions on related state and national legislation affecting transportation and public works;
  • to contribute to the development and/or revision of statewide standard specifications and guideline documents;
  • to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, technical information and best practices; and
  • to offer opinions on related local, state and national legislation to assure every community of the best possible engineering available.

FACERS is directly affiliated with the National Association of County Engineers (NACE) and the Florida Association of Counties.
